From The Court Of The Crimson King (Thou Dost Not Speak Thy Name): KoMaRa
View on YouTube
(hirnfick 2.0)
Inzwischen hat die Band ein weiteres Album angekündigt: KOMARA Band - Boundary-Breaking, Cinematic Industrial Ethno-Rock From King Crimson’s Pat Mastelotto and Renowned Avant-Experimentalists David Kollar and Paolo Raineri.
DGM announces an official Collectors Bootleg of the recent King Crimson concert in Toronto from 20th Nov 2015 - one of the standout performances by the new seven-piece, triple-drummer incarnation. It can be downloaded from www.dgmlive.com and will also be available from the site as a mail order Collectors Club Special Edition from March 17th.
This autumn, the band will be releasing a full live album, together with complete concert footage. For those who cannot wait, this "official bootleg" is the perfect teaser. The running time of the show is entirely untouched, with the exception of a shortened pause between the recorded announcement and the band's arrival on stage when Mel Collins and Tony Levin improvise over the opening soundscape.
Fripp has often stated that a band, however good and professional, cannot take a concert beyond 7/10. To go further requires the active participation of the other parts of the equation - the music and the audience. This concert was in the opinion of many who were lucky enough to be there precisely one of those magical events where "everything comes together" and we are all reminded that music can still change the world. It was therefore an obvious choice when an "official bootleg" was urgently needed to stem the current tide of poor sounding illegal offerings.
Set list includes Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Pictures of a City, VROOOM, Radical Action (to unseat the hold of Monkey Mind), Meltdown, The Hellhounds of Krim, The Construkction of Light, Red, Epitaph, Banshee Legs Bell Hassle, Easy Money, Level V, The Letters, Sailor's Tale, The Court of the Crimson King, 21st Century Schizoid Man.
