Immer wieder interessant auch zu verfolgen, welche Spuren es von Jazz zu Rock und umgekehrt gibt. Wie hier zB. Gary Brooker und Robin Trower sich an Mingus versuchen; - umgekehrt und später Chet Baker - in einem seiner letzten Konzerte, bevor er am 13. Mai 1988 aus dem Fenster eines Hotels in Amsterdam stürzte - Elvis Costellos Almost Blue interpretiert (23:41):
