Faszinierende Bilder und eine interessante Diskussion, - und eine interessante Perspektive:
Was wäre, wenn der der Torre David zur Ikone der 2010er Jahre würde, wie es die Twin Towers für die 2000er waren? Symbolgehaltsmäßig ist da viel drin: Aus den Ruinen des Casinokapitalismus entsteht Neues ... Teile der Türme wurden nicht mehr glasverspiegelt, aber handwerklich zurückerobert ... community living in a vertical slum.

Aufmerksam geworden auf den Torre David bin ich durch die sehr lesenswerte Reportage "Der Turm" von Peter Burghardt (in der Süddeutschen Zeitung vom 21.09. - no link available).
Schade dass Bolano und Saramago nicht mehr leben; - beide hätten daraus phantastische Erzählungen machen können! Aber vielleicht ... Und könnte nicht der Torre David die Fortsetzung von Saramagos "Das Zentrum" in der Wirklichkeit sein??
