Sopho "Sophie" Shevardnadze
(Georgian: სოფო შევარდნაძე; Russian: Софико Паатовна Шеварднадзе) (born Sophiko Shevardnadze, September 23, 1978) is a correspondent for RT. She is the granddaughter of former Georgian President and Soviet minister of foreign affairs Eduard Shevardnadze, and was known to join him on some high-level meetings between the Soviets and the Americans when she was in her teens. She was born in the Georgian SSR, Soviet Union but moved to France at age 10, then moved to the United States.
She graduated with a cinema degree from Boston University and studied in the masters program in TV-journalism at New York University. After graduation, she worked as a producer for ABC-TV, before returning to work in Georgia. After hearing about the upcoming launch of RT, she moved to Moscow and has been a presenter with the network since the launch ...

Interessante Biografie immerhin! - Ich empfehle durchaus, mal den Feindsender zu sehen, - mir gefällt Sophie* irgendwie besser als Anne und Maybritt; wohl wissend, dass das Medienspiel ja genau auf diese Konstruktion hinaus will: Wer nicht für uns ist, der ist für die anderen (Seeßlen, siehe unten).
Die Formulierung "Cold War 2.0" und der Hinweis auf "All we need is Lavrov" finden sich bei Pepe Escobar (Obama's 'strategy' against 'pariah' Russia - ASIA TIMES Apr 29, '14 ). And here 'tis:



Escobar resümiert - und seine Einschätzung wird mE durch das Lavrov-Interview bestätigt - :
The Kremlin, in a nutshell, has invited Washington to play realpolitik. Not Monopoly. The Obama administration, at best - and we are being very lenient here - plays checkers. Moscow plays chess. A mad drive to instill chaos in Russia's western borderlands while "ignoring" Putin won't change the Kremlin's defense of what it perceives as Russia's national interests.
Let's say the "project" was to seize Ukraine, kick Moscow out of the Sevastopol base, and thus from the Eastern Mediterranean; and then take over Syria, so Qatar - and not Iran-Iraq-Syria - may get "its" share of Pipelineistan via Jordan and a Sunni-ruled Syria towards EU markets. The "project" is miserably failing.

Gut finde ich bei Escobar, dass er immer die "projects", die ökonomischen Interessen hinter der Politik rausarbeitet - und das in Formulierungen, die die Dinge sowas von auf den Punkt bringen ....
Das gilt auch für die neue Besetzung der Anstalt, wenn die die NATO-Versteher enttarnt:
